I sent out a crew this summer and gave them two LED lights to test out. I
talked to them when they got back and they were wild about them. They same
a ton of weight compared to mag lights and met all their light needs at
night. The lights seemed to be undimmed on their return. There is a
variety with an on/off switch but I probably wouldn't get it. The squeeze
to use light limits use and saves batteries. The one we tried out was the
Princeton Tec Pulsar. The only drawback was that the light is so small
that I have to keep a lanyard on it so that I do not lost it!
