Hope everything works out between you and the ASM, but it sounds like an
issue for the PLC, as Boy Scouting is a program run by the Boys. If not it
just equates to Baby Sitters of America.
It is their decision, not yours or the ASM's. After all it is their Trek,
you just get to come along for the ride.
I just have to ask why your ASM is strapped with being the planner ? The
logistics of the trip should be a Committee job, after all, after the
extended Goose season in Goodhue County and deer hunting what else is there
to do in Pine Island the rest of the winter ? Couldn't your Committee
Outdoor Chair take care of some of the plans for Philmont ?
