You will have a great time! Others have already mentioned some of the
programs available at the Training Center - handicrafts, branding, day
hikes, Tuesday night Buffalo BBQ, etc. There is definitely no shortage
of activities for the you and the family.
Your Boy Scout sons will be able to pariticpate in the Mountain Trek
program. Basically, they will be grouped with other kids in their age
range and take a mini-Philmont trek. Each crew has two Rangers and
spends 6 nights in the backcountry. There is a lot of emphasis on the
backcountry programs so they will have a great time.
