About the BBQ and potatots....
I remember making the BBQ turkey and mashed potatos with green peas in a one
pot meal back in 2000. First night too! I thought it was really good! My question
is why you would make a meal @ Clarks Fork when they have the chuchkwagon dinner.
They must not have signed up for it @ logisitics, I guess.
Explanation ...
It was another crew that walked up to the porch at Clark's Fork around 9 a.m.
with their dinner from the previous night. Our crew had arrived shortly before
- we were at Cito the previous night, assume that they were also there or at
another camp close by (obviously not Upper Clarks or Ponderosa Park, which get
the Chuckwagon Dinner and head up to Tooth Ridge the next morning).
Regarding mixing, I suppose it is possible. The crew I saw had two full gallon
ziplock bags of the results of their mixture, which the staff at Clark's Fork
took off their hands.
