I realized there wasn't an updated map posted in Logistics last summer but
didn't ask why. Wish I had and got that response. The latest Philmont
Section maps available last summer were dated 1998 and there certainly have
been a number of major trails constructed / opened since then (up Trail
Peak, the "endless" trail down from Tooth Ridge to Camping Headquarters, the
short trail from Grouse Canyon to Ute Gulch Commissary, etc.) which are not
on the maps.
