We tried using the bag method of cooking, but we abondoned it because of the
mess. I'm sure it was our lack of experience with the method, but it seemed
like the Scouts and advisors were more likely to get food on their hands
when trying to get the last remnants of the meal out of the bag. After
weighing the possibility of having food smell on the hands of the Scouts (in
bear country) and the need to carry out a bag of wet garbage, we decided the
old fashion method of cooking, human sumping and cleaning was better.
