By the BSA rules, my two sons were not allowed to sleep in the same tent in
1999 when one was 17 and the other 18. They shared the same room for 17
years at home and now room together in college but couldn't sleep in a
Philmont tent! I agree that common sense should prevail in these situations,
but remember we are talking about the BSA.

I have used a policy for the past 5 trips that the boys eagerly adhere to.
Each night, the tent mates change. How better to get to know everyone and
work as a crew. It has worked successfully even around BSA guidelines.
