What a nice wife. Little do you realize, if he doesn't have them he might
not make it back. Just joking but it really made the trip a lot easier for
me. My wife bought me a pair of Leki's from campmor for about $70. Some
people swear by them for going down hills. They are like 4 wheel drive
going up! On rocky areas you can catch up to the scouts since you have a
little more balance. Though some on the group discourage it (because they
may break?) we used them for the dining fly poles with great success.
