And if you are coming up from Cyphers, remember that the trail is even
steeper than from Clear Creek.

I guess you might say it's steep any way you approach it.

And by the way, Mt Phillips is a lot taller now than in 1959. In 1959 it wa
officially 11,711 feet. Today I think it is 11,729 feet if memory serves me
correst. It surely seemed a lot more than just an 18 foot difference.
