We really liked Crater Lake too. Seeing the sunrise here is probably as good as from the Tooth, only legal and a lot safer.
The hike to the upper camp sites was "invigorating".

Alex is right. Crater Lake is a great camp. Our Scouts loved the Spar Pole climbing. The "Tabasco Donkeys" performed in the evening, and provided tons of entertainment. The sunrise at this camp is also a great view.

Favorite Staff Camp: Crater Lake. Wheather the staff is good or poor, the view from the cabin, and the campfire ring is one to remember. I particularly remember getting a bright red sunset that turns Tooth Ridge red and watching the distant thuderstorm off on the plains. Did I mention that they also do a campfire program at Crater Lake? :>)
