Real tents are designed to be stuffed. The cheap Coleman tents with poly
floors are easier to role because they are a little stiff. Just an
observation. I tell my scouts to stuff it to.
I watched a scout at philmont rolling his Coleman exponent sleeping bag. I
showed him how to stuff it and it saved him a lot of time getting ready in
the morning.

I've been saying stuff it for several years now.

Oh & I do the same with my tent... I've noticed no ill effects, and as
pointed out, I believe it reduces the 'same worn fold' syndrome, and is
a lot quicker.
