[Philmont]: Cell Phones & Camp shoes

In June 2003, our cell phone using Cingular Wireless worked in Taos, Red
River and Cimarron, NM. We also had a good signal from base camp but we
didn't carry it to the back country.

If you're looking for some lightweight camp shoes follow this link.
Wouldn't serve very well as hiking shoes probably but are excellent to wear
around camp. Usual disclaimers, my only connection with the company is as a
satisfied customer. They're on sale now also!
