Ok, I gotta ask; I know some of you reading this have been or are on a low carb diet. I am, and lost 100 lbs. within a years time, and went from a 44" waist to a 34" waist. That was 2 years ago, before Atkin's was a household name. I went on it initially to control my glucose levels, which were at 400 at one time. I am type II diabetic. My loss of weight actually is why I'm able to go to Philmont this coming summer. I have been walking/ jogging and general exercises at home for 2 years now. I guess I'm curious if there is anyone who's been on this low carb lifestyle, who has attended Philmont and how they handled the menus of high carb foods.
