[Philmont]: rain suits

I have already been advised not to use a poncho as protection from the rain. I have been introduced to a suit called the Frogg Togg. The complete suit ,top and bottom, only weighs 11.5 oz. It feels durable, at least considering it's weight. It has zippered pant legs, allowing you to donn it with boots on. I have used one while jogging, to see how well it blocks the wind. I give it high marks for that. Any feed back regarding it's use at Philmont. I like the weight issue, but I also know that if it would rip, It could make 10 days miserable, especially since we will be going the last part of July. The likelyhood of it ripping is only increased with heavy brush. Will I encounter much heavy brush on the trail? Thanks for your input.
