Re: [Philmont]:  rain suits

Due to an unforeseen circumstance, we were trapped on the side of Phillips
during a horrible storm (rain, hail, sleet, lightning) in "01. Couldn't go
forward. Couldn't go back. Had dropped packs because of the lightning. I was OK
(full raingear) but was noticing that some of my scouts were not. We have
since REQUIRED rain pants (and obviously
rainjacket). Don't care what kind, as you will probably not use the pants.
I could not, in good conscience, think about calling a parent to tell them
that I had lost their scout. This ran through my mind repeatedly while stuck on
the Mt. Won't make that call because of weight. Your choice also.
