Re: [Philmont]: Transportation

I have the pleasure of going to Philmont in July of this year. The last time
I went was in 1974 as the "pup" of the crew. We took Amtrak out of Chicago
in '74. It was a blast! I convinced the other adults to consider Amtrak for
this year, verses the original idea of driving. We got a great rate! It is a
long time on the train, but compared to the amount of time that would be spent
in the car and unable to move............ Time to rest and reflect on the
way back. The boys are looking forward to the trip.
