Based on this message I just called Philmont Camping headquarters and spoke
to Francis.

Francis advised that they have experienced a "larger than normal" amount of
cancellations. She advised that they are working to fill the openings from
the waiting list. That is the original waiting list that was established
last year during the lottery. Francis stated that they are not adding any
new units to the waiting list as it is already an extensive list and they
do not expect to exhaust it.

I warned her of this posting and that she may experience a few other calls,
like mine.
