The middle and lower Buffalo is a beautiful place with deep green pools
(due to the limestone) separated by Class 1 water, wide inviting gravel
bars and high towering bluffs.
Very beautiful.

The upper Buffalo, too much water for most Scouts, is great for those
with skill and experience. The lower Buffalo I thought was very boring
and without much feature. Glad to hear that the locals and the
outfitters are better; they really were the worst of the many states and
rivers I have been on.
