[Philmont]: Expedition Itinerary Summaries & Trek Selection

The Expedition itinerary summaries I have been maintaining for several
years have been recently updated to include 2004. They show certain trek
highlight features and they cross reference/compare each trek from years
2004 thru 1999. This info may be helpful to crews in preparing to select
2005 treks and can assist veteran Philmont campers who have become familiar
with the past Expedition itinerary numbers and routes. Obviously, you need
to check the Treks book carefully when it comes out in March for the latest
revisions before finalizing choices.

My Itinerary Cross Reference Summary is at:
http://www.troop116.org/philmont/phlitinxref.htm

and a reference and link to it is contained at Selden's site at the top of
section 3: Descriptions of Philmont Trek Routes (Itineraries):
http://w4.lns.cornell.edu/~seb/philmont.html#3

Another one-page itinerary summary with only 2004 info is at the below
address and may be of interest.

Any errors spotted or other comments are welcome. And remember, there are
other itinerary summaries that others have done that are also quite useful
in preparing to select your trek. Look down in Selden's section 3 at the
more recent years to see references to them. Anyone else with similar
info, let's hear from you.

Happy trails,
