[Philmont]: Scouting values

I know this is a little off topic, but a couple of months in the wake of Katrina and Rita, several scouters posted stories of how their Scouting skills helped not only them, but their neighbors in surviving these tragedies. I have been named the FOS family chairman for our district and would like to incorporate some of these stories into our unit presentations on how through Scouting, the skills and values that are taught through Scouting were used in these case where Mother Nature came to them instead of us going to Mother Nature. If anyone could forward these stories offline or on the list (I'm sure some of the lurkers like me would enjoy reading them again), I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,
Lou Anderson
