Are you advocating we should be blind to any medical condition?
Is this about avoiding a law suit or keeping the Scout safe and healthy?
How will your approach increase the possibility of the Scout attending a
High Adventure program and returning safely and in good health?
I can see where having information on a Scout's specific medical needs could
increase my ability to properly care for him. If he has condition X.12 and I
know that to help him monitor his condition, we should look out for X.10 and
X.11, I am adding to his safety net. I can't see where is will hurt his
physical condition. I can see where having his specific medical condition
could increase my exposure to a lawsuit. I can't see where having that
information would lessen his chances for health and safety.
Respectfully asked,
Jim Welton
