[Philmont]: Arrival date- departure date

I am assuming that the arrival date listed for registering for Philmont is
the actual day you start your trek.??? In other words I want to start our
Trek on a Monday--is that the arrival date as the dates listed on the
registaration sites list 12 days out with a 12th day departure day. We have
a 24 hour train ride going and returning- would like to get the adults back
home on a Sunday for work on a Monday.

Any insight on this would help.
