Actually, you return to Base Camp on Day 12, have the Closing Campfire that night, and depart the following day. A total of twelve nights at Philmont, 10 in the backcountry, plus the first and last nights in Base Camp.
 
But be aware that some crews, unlike Philmont, do not count the first day in Base Camp, and only deal with the 11 days on the trail. I do not know why they do that...

Day 1 is arrival day.  Your trek actually starts on Day 2, you arrive back at base camp on Day 11 and depart on Day 12.
