[Philmont]: "Exploring Philmont" pamphlet

Tonight I was given a copy of a small pamphlet entitled "Exploring
Philmont - Information for Campers." It is slightly smaller that the
present "Guidebook to Adventure" and much shorter - 19 pages of text and 5
blank pages for "Notes" at the end. It has a light green cover. There are
no photographs and only a few drawn illustrations. It talks about each crew
planning its expedition with the staff after arrival, including possibly
staying several days in one camp before moving on.

It obviously is the precursor to the present day "Guidebook," which I know
dates from at least the mid 60's. However, it has no date references (that
I found). The addresses do not include a zip code, and the phone numbers do
not have an area code.

I was also given a copy of a "Philmont Program Handbook," which is also
undated but I know is from 1952 - the era of 18 day wagon trains, 10 day
Northbound and Southbound Expeditions, and unplanned Kit Carson Treks. That
is a 100 page, bound booklet, slightly larger in size than the "Guidebook,"
with a light brown cover.

Both apparently were printed at "Range Print" in Raton.

So I believe the "Exploring Philmont" pamphlet is from sometime between 1952
and 1966. Can anyone help narrow down the era that it dates from?

Thanks.
