Absolutely correct. In the many treks I have run, both independent and
Council-based, virtually every adult who approached Philmont in this
manner ended up dropping out on me. This was not much of revelation,
since they also were trying to "fit in" the meetings, the shakedowns,
and the physical training program. But were always "too busy" to do so.
