[Philmont]: Philmont Patches for Sale

Mike-

I find the concept of selling or trading a Philmont trek patch so repulsive
I can't even entertain the thought.

I consider it a breach of Scout ethics and morals for anyone to ever sell or
trade a Philmont trek patch that was earned by the sweat of one's brow.

Trek patches should never get into the hands of traders. One would hope
these patches would be so meaningful to the original owner that they would
never leave the possession of that Scout or Scouter. In the event of their
death I would hope the patch would find an honored and respected home where
it could be appreciated by those in Scouting, and certainly not among a
collection meant to be wheeled and dealed.

Sorry, but that's how I feel.

YiS,

Earl Owens

Hi Earl,

you know anyone who wants to sell or trade their Y2K arrowhead patch? I am
looking for Philmont patches for my collection and I have duplicates to
trade or if you want to sell and get Christmas $, let me know.

Thanks, Mike Marchese
