Which, of course, is likely to be an enforceable clause for
disposition. Just thought I'd let you know. It would probably
be enforceable in California*, but if the executor decided to
sell them anyway, the likely result would be a court would
make the executor disgorge that part of his/her
benefit or fee equal to the amount for which they were sold. So a
bad-intended executor has little to fear on this account.

Better to dispose of them inter-vivos :-). I am more than willing
to take donations :-), I'd love to have an extra for my trek
