Comment - Absolutely. I personally have done somewhere between 30 and
35 High Adventures in my Scouting career, of which 11 were to Philmont.
My Troop has down maybe 10 more without me, mainly to the Carribean (I
can't SCUBA-dive for physical reasons) and our "Junior High Adventures"
in VA and PA. Not getting into Philmont is not The End of Life as You
Know It. The possibilities are myriad.
