[philmont] Duplicate reservation - 2008 Philmont

Just goes to show that somewhere, someone has figured out a way to beat the
system. How do you charter 13 different units under one umbrella?

Here's the system I want some of you guys out there to beat. My LaZBoy
leather recliner weighs about 70 pounds alone. Figure out a way to cheat
gravity so that thing will be feather light. I'd carry it to the top of
Baldy, slather on the zinc oxide, and burn baby burn.

13 units. Trustworthy, Loyal...

Hello all,

 As I reported earlier, both our troop and crew were awarded slots for 2008.
I am the HA coordinator for the Troop and the Crew advisor, so it was I that
registered for both units. I'm sure that there must be many units that have
overlapping adult leadership like ours, but 13 reservations for 60
individuals !!! No wonder the depth of treks into the wait list has gotten
larger if this is an indication of how people work the new system!

Dear Scouter:

We are pleased that you were selected to obtain a reservation for Philmont
Scout Ranch in the year 2008.

As we review the data, we find that you were successfully selected for
reservations with multiple units. (One individual received 13 reservations
of 60 individuals which equals 780 participants).

As we seek to provide the Philmont Experience to as many people as possible
we would like to verify that the reservations are indeed for different
groups and not just one group making a number of requests in hopes of
receiving one.

Please let us know which reservations you intend to pursue so that we can
quickly move people from the waiting list so that they can prepare for the
$50.00 reservation payment which will be due on January 31, 2007.

Again, thank you for making a reservation for Philmont in 2008.
