Steve,

I've done both of your first 2 choices as they are listed now. We had a
great time with the burros. If you would like more information email me off
line at Latimerdk@verizon.net

Doug

Subject: [philmont] Planning for Treks in 2007

Our Crew got together and made some preliminary decisions on its treks for
2007. Now let's hope there are not too many changes when Philmont sends out
the 2007 Itinerary Guide. That usually comes around March, doesn't it?

The crew's choices for treks are:

1. 9

2. 11

3. 16

4. 1

5. 28

>From what I have heard on this list, we should either get our first or
second choice. I hope that remains in 2007.

And now to the question. Anybody want to offer any input on on treks 9 or
11? We're gonna get stuck with the mules on 9, that much I know and I hear
the climb to Baldy is pretty darn tough on 9. Other than that, I'm
clueless. Of our 12 member crew, only 1 has been to Philmont in the past.

Thanks for your input.

Steve Tucker
