In addition to the fact that the Philmont Advisor's Guide is an invaluable resource for crews heading to Philmont and only costs $10, keep in mind that the sale of the Guide is the sole fundraiser for a Venturing crew in the National Capital Area Council. I would be happy to toss $10 in the collection can for such a crew if they were camped out at my local supermarket, although I usually don't like to run that charity gauntlet, utilized by every softball team and cheerleading ensemble.
Here, you get some real bang for your buck.
In that spirit, please contribute $10 for EACH guide you order from our friend Cooper Wright. Resist the temptation to pay for one and then xerox it for the use of each advisor in your contingent. You will be glad you did.
Of course, a Scout is trustworthy.
That's all I've got. (today)
