[Philmont] Training Treks reply to David

To David Barkdull,
  I'm the Challenge Course and Climbing Chair here in the Greater St. Louis Area Council and the Backpacking MB subject Director. O'Fallon, Illinois is in flat country but if you head west across that big creek you will find enough challenging trails. Contact me off line and I will introduce you to several trails here in Missouri that aren't flat. Several have more ups and downs than you might experience at Philmont. After one of our weekend hikes I told the guys that trail was tougher than any day at Philmont - they remembered and agreed when we got back to base camp. A large chunk of the Ozarks is in our council boundaries and the rest isn't too far away.
