Lets get back to gear discussions.
Santa (aka my wife of 34 years) is bringing me a new MSR Dragonfly for Christmas. I know because I had to order it online for her. It will join my 5 other backpacking stoves. Never can have too many as we all know. All five of its predecessors have been used at Philmont so now I will probably have to schedule an Autumn Adventure so my new stove can enjoy the ranch too. For you old timers on the list, all of the stoves still work great including my very first one, an Optimus 80. For the benefit of John L, I upgraded to a Coleman 502 several years later. I can't believe we carried that monster, but in its day it was "light weight". I'm rambling so I'll be quiet now. Merry Christmas to all. Go Buckeyes!!!
