RE: [Philmont]: hello hello hello

In 1993 my crew went into the Valle. Hiking into Ring Place across an expansive
meadow we encountered massive swarms of biting flies. My crew affectionately
marked that area on their map "Dear Fly Meadow". The problem was over as soon
as we crossed the meadow into Ring Place. We didn't have a problem with biting
insects the rest of the trek.
