> Which type of raingear is recommended - Rain suit or Poncho?
Definitely a rain suit. They are a lot more durable than even the best
ponchos. In addition, rain suits are more breatheable and they will
protect you from the wind more than a poncho will. Your rain pants and
rain jacket can also double as warm-weather clothing, reducing your
total pack weight. A quality rain suit is well worth the investment.
