Thanks for the feedback everyone on the emergency purchases. We always
bring along enough gear "just in case", but I just wasn't familiar with
whether or not there were actually outposts around Philmont for purchasing
replacements if needed. I had understood that fuel could be purchased at
staffed camps so I thought perhaps there were other items that could be
purchased as well.
