I'm sure I didnt' say three days before trek in tent city. In any case, I
meant three nights total in tent city, two before, one after, and the only
reason two before is our train schedule is such that we arrive too late for
checkin and have to spend a night before checkin the next morning.

  Three days in CHQ? Most arrive on one day, spend one night in CHQ and
head out on the trail the next day. Same thing in referse when you come off
the trail. One night in CHQ adn head for home the next day.

  CHQ is set up for that scenario. I just can't see spending three nights
in CHQ upon arrival.

  My gosh, what are you bringing with you? Twelve duffle bags?
