I just thought of a great story from scout camp a few years ago that everyone
should find entertaining. One parent drove up to be the driver to pick up
boys at the end of camp. It began to rain just as we started loading all the
gear into the trailer and vehicles. This parent left his keys in the suburban
with the door unlocked. He had an alarm on the vehicle that automatically
locks and arms the alarm after a certain time. Well this happened and then he
was locked out. I suggested he start asking everyone if they had a GMC
vehicle and try their key in his lock as I this had been a story on 60
Minutes. GM used to repeat the keys to about every 20th vehicle or so they
produced. Luck would have it that about the 10th person he asked, their keys
matched and opened his suburban. Relief and concern occurred about the same
time.
