Good point by Signe. You will see guys like this at Philmont all the time. Type A personality, acting crew leaders. Man do I feel sorry for the rest of the members of their crews. They are always questioning Philmont's rules and backcountry procedures. They wind up harassing the base camp staff, backcountry staff and their rangers because they want it their way. They are also the ones who fill up the end of trek comment forms with complaints about everything and everybody. In the end, they ultimately distance Philmont from your council. It's time to cut this behavior in the bud.
