Another option my sons and I used last summer were the Superfly shoes by
Sportiva, no interest in the company, but we looked for something
lightweight and these fit that need and also are a light duty rock
scrambling shoe (the soles are quite tacky). A little pricy but the
combination worked well for us. I even throw them in my carry on during
business travel as my workout shoes now.
