whole heartedly agree on this one. dirty socks might be one thing but I
wouldn't want to chance my sleeping bag either. I had an advisor put the
pots over the ends of his sleeping pad but I wouldn't advise it.

No thank you with my sleeping bag! When great effort is made to keep
smellables in the bear bag, cooking done in the bearmuda triangle & away
from tents, not even going into a tent in trail clothes you ate in, but
changing outside.... it does not seem logical to me to stick my sleeping
bag , albeit in a stuff sack, into the pot which food has cooked in.
