The BSA, nor Philmont never did "favor" any agency or company offering
transportation. They simply listed them for your convenience and as a
courtesy to you.
They "delisted" Adventure Travel for the obvious reason that has been posted.
It's as simple as that.
The BSA and Philmont Administration are very careful in their listings which
ARE NOT recommendations. The reason they are is as so many people perceive a
"listing" to be a recommendation.
Again, Philmont DOES NOT recommend any travel agency or transportation and
will not list one owned or operated by those convicted of crimes involving
minor children.
Philmont does contract with a company to furnish bus transportation within
Philmont and to and from Philmont to Raton and Cimarron.
Again, it's as simple as stated.
