Without intending to be argumentative, I find it amazing that anyone would
presume to know what spark interest will be lit in any particular young
person's life by being exposed to something new.
I am reminded of a phrase from the movie 'Remember the Titans': "Attitude
reflects leadership, captain."
Be sure it is not your own boredom out of your skull that you are passing
along in the name of valued "life skills." Besides which, something like
this should be taught be a qualified merit badge counselor, who *does* have
the interest to infect those learning.
