I just got some numbers for you if you are interested.
The Abbey in Canon City, has a gymnasium with showers to stay in. Cost is
$5.50 per person per night. Contact Paula Shegley at 719-275-8631 if you
are interested.
Colorado Whitewater Expeditions will do Class III 1/2 day raft trips on the
Arkansas River for Scouts this summer for $30.00 per person. Normal price
is $40.00 per person. Owner is an Eagle Scout. Call 877 Raft CWE or email

Canon City is 45 minutes SW of Colorado Springs and about 50 minutes West of
Pueblo/I-25, 2 hours West of La Junta and the Koshares.
