I'm sure there are many good places to stay in the
area but if La Junta is near your travel route, you
may want to contact Troop 232, the Koshare Kiva
(800-693-5482, www.koshare.org). They provide a hostel
for crews on their way to/from Philmont at a great
price . They also have quite a history.
