Good question. I've used these pots for over 20 years.
Not sure what I should expect as a result. I do notice
that the Scout catalog continues to sell aluminum cook
kits. In fact I don't recall ever seeing large patrol
cook kits made of anything but aluminum.
Coleman is the only company that I know of that made
larger cooking pots for camping. The problem with
their large pot was that it was very short and
extremely wide making it a stability issue on single
burns. We do have some and use them in the troop with
extra care.
