Remember the dry conditions last summer at Philmont?

It's even drier this year. No rain. No snow. The entire western US is in
the grips of a real drought. Pholks, the ranch could use some rain dances or
strategically placed prayers for rain.

The above is quoted from my friend Fred Musser whom I met on this list and on
Mt Phillips in person last summer.

Fred's family and mine spent the day after Christmas together when we flew to
Raleigh, NC from Texas to be with our daughter for the holidays.

Pholks it doesn't get any better than this list for making new friends. In
your travels, don't hesitate to meet with someone from this list and share a
few hours together. That is a rich reward.
