You can also make these. Use a 3/4 inch webbing, D rings and sew it up.
Sew the web to make the loop fit in the D ring and slip it through your
shoulder straps where it is sewn together. I have a Kelty Super Tioga and
we have made these straps for packs and they can fit any other packs also.
You can look around to find the best place to get your webbing and quick
release buckles. Also you can make your own belts with this webbing and use
a quick release buckle for the buckle. We have about 1.60 in our belts and
are very lite. You can lift your pack up off your shoulders to give them a
rest or to just hang your hands in to pull your pack up a little. We also
slip D rings into the shoulder straps to clip our carabineers into for our
Nalgene bottles. We have 3 D rings on each shoulder strap. Look around for
these D rings (zinc not chrome), Home Depot and Lowes are a little high on
these. I found a "REAL" hardware store in a small town and they were 11
cents each not 30+.
