I too worked at the Beaubien chuck wagon dinner because it was my turn to
cook dinner. I never questioned whether I should or not. The staff seemed to
like having a responsible adult to help with the meal.

cleanup that evening, too. Many hands made light work after the Beaubien
chuck wagon dinner, but it was one of the messier cleanups of the trek!
