[Philmont]: "Follow Me Boys!"

Greetings All!

What a Great Time To Be A Scout Leader! In case you can't tell, I'm pretty excited. I have just returned from my weekly troop meeting and am the proud "papa" of my troops 99th and 100th Eagles in 45 years!

Both of these scouts are Philmont veterans, who cited that summer's trip as a high point of their young lives to date! I am lucky that one of the young men will be going back to the Double H with the troop this summer. We can't wait!

Oh by the way, in case you missed it, the Disney Classic that is a must for every Scouters library,
"Follow Me Boys!" , starring Fred McMurray and Kurt Russell, is out on DVD. Got it at Best Buy just last night..... and yes I can tie a sheepshank, inspired by this movie when I was just a mere lad....
